In the modern age, China has never been particularly favorable toward Christianity. But there had been a loosening in the first part of the 21st century that is quickly being taken back by the communist government.
There are any number of articles which I could refer to, but for now I will highlight two articles in particular from this year:
(1) From The Guardian: Can't share the gospel with anyone under 18.
(2) From Mission Network News: China is closing churches, jailing pastors, and re-writing Scripture.
The need is greater to get physical Bibles into countries such as China. Let's continue to pray for these countries!
