As we officially kick off this humble launching of Double Edged Notes, I want to answer the question that I get a lot: How can I help?
There’s a lot of different answers depending on your level of activity and interest in what we’re doing.
1: Pray for DEN
If you do not like journaling in physical notebooks, I get it, but do me a favor and read this blog post. Either way, I encourage you to find what works best for you as you seek to linger deeply in God’s Word.
Even if I can’t convince you to journal, please pray for the company and me. I don’t know where this journey is heading, but I know that dependence upon God is critical. This is my prayer for Double Edged. Please join me in praying to this end.
2: Purchase a Journal (and Use it)
There are many people I wish I could give a journal to right now. But, the purchase of a journal is very much a blessing to me, my family, and our company right now. However, we don’t want you to buy if you are not going to use it. You can buy it on our site. Or you buy it on Amazon and use prime shipping if you have it. Doesn’t bother me. If you prefer Amazon, here’s quick links: ruled version or blank version.
I know many of you aren’t quite sure how to journal or what method works best for you. That’s something I want Double Edged to help with. I want our blog to be a resource to where you can come and get ideas. Same for our social media (see item #3 of this list). Journaling looks different for everyone. How I journal today look much different from how I journaled a year ago.
So if you’re unsure how to journal, but think you want to, grab a journal and let’s learn what our style is together.
3: Become a Fan
Like us on Facebook. Follow us on Twitter or Instagram. Read the blog. Help us tell others about how we all can become more like 2 Timothy 2:15 workmen. How we can help multiply the gospel throughout the word.
4: Engage Fully
We want to experience your journaling with you. We’re not asking to read your whole journal, but we’d love to see glimpses. Share your journal with our audience on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. It will encourage others with their journaling. We can learn together and get ideas from people that are similar to us in our creative outlets.
Please join us in this. Start using the #FromMyDEN and help lead us all.
